Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 12, 2026
Article Generator is operated by MysterE Media ("we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our AI-powered SEO article generation platform (the "Service").
1. Information We Collect
Personal Information
- Name and email address (provided during registration or via Google OAuth)
- Payment information (processed securely by Stripe — we never store your full card number)
Usage Data
- Pages visited, features used, and interactions within the Service
- Browser type, device type, and IP address
- Referring URL and session duration
Content Data
- Website URLs, domain names, and site descriptions you provide
- Topics, keywords, and article content generated through the Service
- CMS credentials and API keys you configure for publishing
2. How We Use Your Information
- Service delivery: generating articles, managing your account, and publishing content on your behalf
- Billing: processing subscriptions and payments through Stripe
- Improvement: analyzing usage patterns to improve features, performance, and reliability
- Communication: sending account-related notifications, such as generation status updates and billing receipts
3. AI Content Generation
Our Service uses third-party AI providers — including Anthropic (Claude), OpenAI, and Google (Gemini) — to generate article content. When you use the Service, we send relevant data (such as your website information, topic details, keywords, and content instructions) to these AI providers to produce articles.
Each AI provider processes this data according to their own privacy policies and data handling practices. We select providers that offer commercial-grade data protections, and content sent to these providers is used solely for generating your requested articles.
4. Payment Processing
All payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store your credit card number, CVV, or full payment details on our servers. We retain only a Stripe customer ID and basic subscription metadata (plan name, status, billing period) to manage your account.
5. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted on Neon and served through Vercel, both of which are United States–based infrastructure providers. We use encryption in transit (TLS/HTTPS) and follow industry-standard security practices to protect your data. Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text.
6. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to operate the platform:
- Stripe— payment processing
- Anthropic, OpenAI, Google — AI content generation
- Vercel— application hosting and serverless functions
- Neon— PostgreSQL database hosting
- Google OAuth— optional sign-in authentication
Each provider operates under its own privacy policy. We encourage you to review them.
7. CMS Publishing
When you connect a CMS (such as WordPress or Shopify) or configure a webhook, you authorize us to publish content to your website on your behalf. We access your CMS only to perform the publishing actions you configure. CMS credentials are stored in our database, protected by encryption in transit (TLS) and Neon's encryption at rest, and are never shared with third parties.
8. Cookies & Sessions
We use a session cookie (JWT-based) to keep you signed in. This is a strictly necessary, functional cookie. We do not use third-party tracking cookies, advertising pixels, or analytics cookies.
9. Data Retention
We retain your account data and generated content for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription, your data remains accessible until you request deletion. Upon account deletion, we remove your personal information and generated content from our systems within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
10. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete information
- Delete your account and associated data
- Export your generated content and account data
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at levi@mysteremedia.com.
11. Children's Privacy
The Service is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected such information, we will delete it promptly.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, by email. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
